Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I start playing?
Open the app, choose a category (or select “Any Category”), then tap New Question. Pick your answer from the multiple choices and see if you’re right.

2. How does multiplayer scoring work?
Tap Start Session, add your player name and the scoring type. Allow nearby players to join your session by scanning the session’s QR code, or copy the session link to share by text. The scoreboard will track scores automatically as questions are answered correctly.

3. How does the game move along?
If playing solo, click New Question to advance the next question, or if playing in a session the questions will advance automatically. When playing in a multiplayer session, the next question will load once everyone has submitted their answer, or the person who started the session can manually select New Question.

3. Can I play solo?
Yes! Just start answering questions or start a session to begin keeping score.

4. How do I change categories?
Use the category dropdown before tapping New Question to filter by your preferred topic. Only the player who started the session can change the category.

5. Why am I seeing the same question?
Questions are pulled from an online trivia database. Occasionally, repeats may occur, but with thousands of questions available, it’s rare.
